Template set

The template set defines the profile. It has an angle for the profile and a steeper angle for the tip. The position of the steeper angle can be set, and it can be activated or de-activated. It is mentioned to make a pre-fab of the tip so there is less cane to take away when you profile the tip with the tip profiler.

If you use the profiler for different types of reed you can use the same template set with different settings. To prevent time consuming adjustments each time you change to another type of reed, it is advisable to buy a template set for each type. Template sets can be changed within 1 minute, they come back exactly on their previous position.
