Description

The cylinder set is the holder of the cane, it defines the difference between the middle and the sides of the profiled cane. We have cylinder sets for all types of bassoon reed and with a wide range of differences. With different cylinder and/or template sets you can use a profiler for different types of reed. 

Specifications
  • The length of the cane is L ±6mm. L is 120mm for bassoon, 150mm for contra bassoon and 140mm for baroque bassoon.
  • The nominal length of the cane for contraforte is 180mm, for contraforte there is no adjustable length stop.
  • The dimensions of a cylinder set BA are: 188mm x 42mm x 32mm, the weight is: 0,7kg.
  • The dimensions of a cylinder set CB are: 228mm x 46mm x 36mm, the weight is: 1,1kg.
