Product delivery times

In addition to the price, you can now view the delivery time of a product. As you have come to expect from us, most products are available directly from stock. However, some products, such as custom-made products, knife sharpening, and product repairs, have a delivery time.

Shopping cart

Delivery times are displayed in the shopping cart for each selected product. At the end of the ordering process, we show the total delivery time of the order. This is the delivery time of the product with the longest delivery time.

Addresses, shipping method, and payment method

If you have a user account, you can choose from the addresses you have saved or create a new address. You can give your addresses a name that makes sense to you, and existing addresses can be edited. The address selection is intelligent. For example, due to customs formalities, the country of shipment must match the country of the invoice for orders outside the EU.

We ship worldwide, which makes determining the possible shipping and payment methods and associated costs complex. Nevertheless, we have succeeded in automating these processes. This means that we only show the available options.

Order Summary

Just before you place an order, we display the order summary with the selected addresses, shipping method, and payment method. Based on the countries and any VAT number, we list the price and tax information where possible.

Customer Portal

You can view your orders in more detail than before, and you can edit and rename the saved addresses. Additionally, the design of the customer portal is aligned with the design of the ordering process.

Extra high U - extra high W

Multiple customers asked for an end shape which leaves more bark at the sides. The extra high U - extra high W end shape result in a smaller scrape at the back and a shorter scrape at the sides. This means there will stay more bark at the sides of the scraped reed.

Low U - straight

We see more and more reeds with a straight end shape of the scrape. The low U - straight end shape gives you the option to choose the shape that suites you best.

With the automatic bassoon tip profiler it is possible to scrape only parts of a reed.

We have now added these functions to the automatic drive of the oboe profiler. You can now scrape the channels, the outer parts, or the inner part of a reed with the automatic oboe profiler.

The image shows a graphical representation of the parts. The dimensions of the parts are programmable.

We improved the order process and added a request offer option. With the request offer option we can inform you with costs like shipping costs before you order.

It is easier now to change the quantity and the buttons and remarks stay on screen, even when there are multiple product in the cart.

We made videos of our machines that show them in a full 360º view to give you the best possible impression.

Example : Oboe profiler quick view video

We added a bed set to the Viennese oboe range. The bed set is for cane diameter 12mm, and cane length 94mm. Bed sets for Viennese oboe are convex which results in gouged cane that is 0,2mm thinner in the middle than at the ends. The new bed set is available from February, 2025.

Under the dial indicator point we added a 1mm ball in the measurement lip. This makes sure the measurement is exactly under the dial indicator point and, because the ball extends above the measurement lip, it makes the angular alignment of the gouged cane or profiled reed less critical.

The new measurement lip with ball fits in old version measurement setups. The measurement lip is fixed in the measurement setup with 1 screw. It is easy to change the measurement lip yourself.

The price of a new design measurement lip is €62,00 for the oboe or bagpipe measurement setup and €72,00 for the bassoon measurement setup.
