New order process and customer portal

We have improved the ordering process in the webshop.

 

Product delivery times

In addition to the price, you can now view the delivery time of a product. As you have come to expect from us, most products are available directly from stock. However, some products, such as custom-made products, knife sharpening, and product repairs, have a delivery time.

 

Shopping cart

Delivery times are displayed in the shopping cart for each selected product. At the end of the ordering process, we show the total delivery time of the order. This is the delivery time of the product with the longest delivery time.

 

Addresses, shipping method, and payment method

If you have a user account, you can choose from the addresses you have saved or create a new address. You can give your addresses a name that makes sense to you, and existing addresses can be edited. The address selection is intelligent. For example, due to customs formalities, the country of shipment must match the country of the invoice for orders outside the EU.

 

We ship worldwide, which makes determining the possible shipping and payment methods and associated costs complex. Nevertheless, we have succeeded in automating these processes. This means that we only show the available options.

 

Order Summary

Just before you place an order, we display the order summary with the selected addresses, shipping method, and payment method. Based on the countries and any VAT number, we list the price and tax information where possible.

 

Customer Portal

You can view your orders in more detail than before, and you can edit and rename the saved addresses. Additionally, the design of the customer portal is aligned with the design of the ordering process.
