We are the first reed making machines brand that is not based on musicians with technical connections, but on technicians with musical connections.
When we started Reed Machines, we decided to develop new concepts for reed making machines and not to copy existing concepts. As engineers with decades of experience in the famous Dutch precision engineering industry we succeeded to generate highly innovative reed making machines with properties and accuracies that were previously unknown.

Arnold is co-founder and co-owner of Reed Machines. He is responsible for Sales, Customer support , Administration, and Product development.
Arnold started his career in manufacturing parts for newly developed machines. During this time he studied Mechanical engineering which resulted in a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Construction Technology. He has decades of experience in technical developments. In addition to experience with mechanics, he also has experience with electronics. Before Reed Machines he developed production systems for semiconductors and customer specific production systems. In time he also assembled and tested complex fine mechanical products consisting of mechanical, pneumatical, and electrical parts. He also had leadership over manufacturing and assembly departments. Before Reed Machines he started to offer his experience to others by helping them to manufacture parts for their products, he is still doing this.
