The automatic drive can be connected to the profiler. It controls the stroke and side movement which together form the scrape process. The stroke speed, big side step, small side step, and scrape width are programmable. The big side step is to pre-scrape the reed and the small side step is to make the final scrape cycle. The automatic drive is powered by an adaptor with USB cable or, for limited use, by the internal Li-ion battery. When the drive is powered by the adaptor, the battery is charged.

As well the mechanical, electrical, as software engineering where done by Reed Machines. This makes the automatic drive and the profiler a perfect match. Within minutes you can connect or disconnect the drive from the profiler so you can use the profiler automatically or manually, what ever suites you best. We can upgrade old profiler models so they can be connected to the automatic drive.
