The profiler base set copies the 3 dimensional shape of a template, and the U or W shape of a end shape part, to the reed. The positions of these shapes on the reed are adjustable in several ways so you can perfectly personalize the scrape to your own preferences. The profiler base set has an unique compact design and a hard cover so you can easily travel with it. You can automate the scraping process by connecting the profiler base set to the automatic drive.

You can adjust the length of the tip, the length of the scrape, the thickness of the tip, and the thickness at the end of the scrape. For the shape at the end of the scrape we have several U and W options. The thickness adjustment of the end of the scrape is unique and gives you perfect control on the way your reed plays and sounds. The template and end shape part can easily be changed for other types. We have templates for European oboe, American oboe, cor anglais, baroque oboe, etc.

The profiler base set comes without a template and end shape part.
