Template BB031

We are working on photo's of scraped reeds taken with back light so you can see the profile on the reed as you are used to. In the meantime we show the colored scan images of the reeds.

The template holds the 3 dimensional profile that is copied to the reed by the tip profiler. For this template the thickness difference between the middle and the sides of the reed tip is 0,35mm based on a reed tip width of 18,2mm. It is possible to make wider or narrower reeds and to scrape till the whole length of the profiled reed part.

For an old version tip profiler the height of the template is 12mm instead of 9mm. If you order a template for an old version tip profiler you have to mention that the height of the template needs to be 12mm in the remarks field at the end of the ordering process.
