The tip profiler copies the 3 dimensional profile of the template to the reed. The position of the profile on the reed is adjustable in several ways so you can perfectly personalize the scrape to your own preferences. The tip profiler has an unique compact design and a hard cover which makes it easy to travel with it. You can automate the scraping process by connecting the tip profiler to the automatic drive.

You can adjust the position of the profile in the length direction of the reed, the thickness of the tip, and the angle under which the profile is copied to reed. The adjustment of the angle of the profile is unique and gives you perfect control on the way your reed plays and sounds. The template can easily be changed for other types. We have multiple templates for bassoon, contra bassoon, contraforte and baroque bassoon.

The tip profiler base set comes without a template.
